H1898

We stayed in H1898 for 4 days recently. We loved the hotel and the friendly staff. The location at La Rambla is exceptional and the rooftop with the outdoor pool and bar is such a cool location to oversee Barca.

Sure we will stay in this amazing Hotel again next time we are back in BCN.

First time in Barcelona

“Last week-end was my first time in Barcelona. As usual I run up and down the city early in the morning not to let my marathon training scheme off. My preference goes to Montjuic ring……really fantastic. Barcelona is a clean and enchantfull place and Jazz Hotel a very big opportunity to stay.
But, sorry I need to criticize just one thing. Together with running I’m fond of literature and arts in general. Don’t you think a real bookshelf crowded by real books could well substitute the tromp l’oeil placed in the left side of the hall? At this time that little rest corner is too cold to stay in……….I think some books and magazines could do a great difference.
I wish you my best congratulations for the way you run the hotel, and of course my next time in Barcelona you’ll be my first choice. ”

My stay in Barcelona.

“I enjoyed really a lot my last stay in barcellona in the B-Hotel.The breakfast was delicious and my wife was fascinated by the interior design of the lobby and by the wonderfull sight on the terrace with swim and solarium. Moreover the location of the hotel is ideal to hop on the metro and go around the city. The room was much confortable and the noise coming up from the streets around  was not so disturbing. Best Compliment to the staff that is very kind and polite.”

“I visited b hotel previous week. I read in small brochure 12 cm x 12 cm present in the room about “heated swimming pool” … I gone for 8th level and I made jump into water …. ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VERY COOL WATER LIKE IN A MOUNTIN STREAM! AROUND 5 CELSIUS DEGREES – VERY REFRESING!!! UNREPEATABLE EXPERIENCE”

Barcelona, Vertebrated City.

The documentary, in two parts of 30 minutes each, was produced jointly by TVE and Barcelona City Council. In February, it won a Bronze at the New York Festivals, in the Travel and Tourism Programmes section.

It covers the most important tourist aspects of the city and the profound changes for the Olympic Games and the Forum of Cultures.

Barcelona, ciudad vertebrada, directed by Nel Escudero and Juan Francisco Rodríguez, is a mix of documentary and tourist guide.

It includes traditional aspects, the most innovative elements in Barcelona, and also a night time journey in helicopter.

The most well-known corners of the city all appear in Barcelona, ciudad vertebrada: the Cathedral, the Rambla, the Liceu and Sagrada Família, even França station, Barça FC museum and Barceloneta beach.

There are references to historic aspects of the city, such as the old city walls and the Cerdà plan, but also more recent, a new Barcelona which transforms an industrial polygon into a technology polygon, the 22@Barcelona district.

4 days at a wonderful hotel – Soho

“after spending quite some time on the web searching for a nice hotel in barcelona, I decided to go for the hotel soho. and the hotel fully met my expectations. the room (terrace) was excellent, I liked the modern design. some people say, rooms facing the street are noisy, but for me it was ok, no big disturbance at all.

I very much liked the relaxed, longe-like atmospehre. breakfast buffet was nice, staff was friendly, a perfect stay!

I spent one evening at the roof top terrace watching a nice sun set (although the whether was not too good) and enjoying the relaxing music that was played.

I can truly recommend this hotel! ”
