“My fiancé and I just come back from a wonderful two nights stay at Soho Barcelona. We wish we were still there ! We enjoyed the most beautiful room of the hotel, its huge terrace, its queen size bed, its modern designed furniture, its amazing light system… everything was much more nice than we could have expected reading other customers’ posts.Â

We enjoyed sun-bathing and drinking a glass of Cava on our terrace, seeing no one around us !Â

We’d like to underline the staff kindness and efficiency. Wether to book a restaurant, a taxi or for any advice, we were always very welcomed, even in french for our check in ! and in english (our spanish is very poor !)Â

The breakfast buffet was terrific and the lounge, especially its outdoor terrace, was very nice to stay on.Â

The roof swimming pool and lounge area is not the least positivite point of the hotel !! whereas it’s not an olympic pool, it’s a dream to refresh yourself just taking the elevator just one floor up from your room ! we spent the last hours of our stay up there, waiting in the sun for our taxi. enjoying every last minutes of our stay.Â

As a conclusion, I would say it’s not that often that you can recommend an hotel to friends, being 100 % sure they won’t be disappointed by anything. Soho Barcelona is one of this wonderful places. We wish we could come back again one day, and get the same room.Â

So, thank you all for having us spending a unique lovers’ weekend !”

Great stay in Hotel SOHO Barcelona

“Me and my wife spent a beautiful stay in hotel SOHO in Barcelona! The hotel is modern, clean, original and in a really good position. It takes 10minutes walking to go to la Rambla, the area is verys safe and you can walk also in the night without any problem. There is also a metro station just 50 meters from the hotel!! All the personnel of the hotel is very kind, young and professional. They all speak fluent english and one is italian and speaking our own language he suggested us great restaurants and places to visit in the city. The rate was very good and with a special internet fare we had also breakfast included, which is generally very expensive in Barcelona hotels. The room was equipped with many technological things, wifi internet is free and there are also 2 computer to surf the web for free in the lobby. The last floor is the terrace wiith a small swimming pool and a place were you can rest after your hard day walking around Barcelona.

Really a place tu suggest to friends!”

“Nous avons adoré l’hotel SOHO à Barcelone.

Nous y sommes allés du 22 au 24/08/2008, ce sont nos meilleurs amis qui nous offert le week-end. Nous avons été stupéfaits par la déco classe, sobre et moderne. Nous avons apprécié le calme qui régnait dans l’hotel. Le personnel a été vraiment charmants avec nous, toujours souriants et serviables.

Le petit déjeuner était copieux, varié et raffiné. C’était un régal.

H1898 – Great Architecture

“We spent a long weekend at the 1898 hotel in Barcelona. Great architecture, friendly stuff, great terrasse with swimming pool and bar, and large & clean rooms. Nothing to complain!

Small regret were the prices for breakfast and at the bar. Unfortunately.”

Fabulous Europark!!

“I´m now half way through my stay at Europark. I´m by myself this time, last time with my partner at hotel Universal was equally as good. I booked a double room, and requested a room at the front with balcony, which is exactly what I got.

Staff are very friendly, wonderful room, better than a lot of 4 star hotel I´ve stayed in in Europe. Fabulous decor, with wooden flooring, and great power shower in the funky bathroom (you can even switch on the sound from the TV in there, in case you don´t want to miss a second while you´re in there…

The maids keep everything perfectly clean. Great little sun terrace on the roof, with little dipping pool, great for cooling down. Lounge music playing to make you feel like you´re at a party on Ibiza, very cool indeed.

Lots of lovely places to eat and drink closeby, supermarket one block south of hotel, and two blocks south another one that stays open late. Not in the direct touristy area, but that´s exactly why I like it, I´m not big on Las Ramblas, a bit too much in your face with the picture-menus…

The beach is a few stops on the Metro from Girona (2 mins south of hotel) to Barcelonetta. (Buy a 10 trip ticket from the Metro station, only 7.something which you stamp everytime you enter, instead of having to buy a 1.30 single ticket every time you board a bus or enter the Metro)

I really can´t fault my stay at Europark, try for yourself!!”

“We recently stayed at the Soho hotel and were impressed by the modern room, as well as the simple, but lovely, buffet breakfast. The hotel was noisy at times due to it’s location on Gran Via; however, this location was also close to the city centre and La Rambla. The staff were inconsistent, particularly at check-in and check-out.”
