The park’s rose garden Cervantes returns to the stage this week’s International Competition for Roses Noves Barcelona.

From 9 to May 11 in the rose garden park Cervantes will be the eighth edition of the International Competition of Roses Noves Barcelona, involving obtentors from various countries.

La Rosaleda de Cervantes

The contest of roses was born in 2001 with the goal of becoming a showcase of new developments in roses, for professionals and the general public, but also to contribute to the projection of Barcelona and his rose garden.

In this sense, the rose garden of Cervantes has a collection of nearly 10,000 roses of about 2,000 spices different species and varieties, including the best roses copies of traditional and modern varieties.

We find collections of wild roses, hybrid of ancient, modern hybrids and climbers, as well as specially scented roses in the garden of Perfumes. There is also a space dedicated to International Competition of Roses where you can see the flowers winners in previous editions.
