Carnival Corporation, the leading cruise ship group in the world, will invest 20 million euros in a new cruise terminal in the port of Barcelona to receive large vessels of up to 4,500 passengers. The aim is to provide services to cruise ships with Barcelona as the homeport Mediterranean routes on journeys that start or end in the city.
The port of Barcelona is the first cruise port of the Mediterranean and Europe, and ranks fourth in the world rankings, only preceded by the three major ports of Florida. The forecast for 2013 is to end the year with a turnover of more than two and a half million passengers.
Núñez i Navarro Hotels have always been a perfect choice for a pre- or post-cruise stay in Barcelona, thanks to their central location in Barcelona and outstanding services and facilities, including free wifi.
