Photographic Contest: Barcelona, always!

Núñez i Navarro Hotels launches its first photographic contest “Barcelona, always!” through facebook.

In order to partake in the contest, open to everyone, you only need to become a a fan of Núñez i Navarro Hotels in facebook and post a picture on the wall.

First prize will be a 2-nights stay with breakfast included at U232 Hotel, a fantastic hotel in Eixample downtown Barcelona. Photographer Marie Espeus collaborated on the decoration of the hotel with wonderful pictures of Barcelona in black and white.

Second prize will be a dinner for two people at the magnificent Restaurant H1898, on Las Ramblas of Barcelona, to discover the Tasting Menu featuring the new tapas by our Chef Carles Boronat. A gastronomic proposal featuring delicatessen such as Oxtail cannelloni with morels or Capuccino of Porcini mushrooms with Idiazabal cheese mousse and truffle oil.

You have time until January 29th, 2010 to post your picture. The two pictures that received more votes “I like it” on February 1st, 2010 will be the winners.

U2 concert and Soho Hotel: a perfect combination in Barcelona

Esperienza a Barcellona

Salve, volevo partecipare al vostro concorso a scadenza 22 giugno e vi scrivi di seguito la mia esperienza catalana:
Io e i miei compagni di avventura, tutti ventenni, abbiamo deciso di far tappa a Barcellona dal 28 dicembre 08 al 2 gennaio 09. Da subito la città ci ha colpito molto per i suoi piccoli e grandi particolari; a tal proposito non si può non citare la Rambla, una via grandissima stracolma di gente dove mi ha colpito in particolare un ragazzo che palleggiava con una palla da calcio facendo delle evoluzioni incredibili per tutto il pomeriggio. La Sagrada Familia, seppur non ancora ultimata, era meta di numerosi turisti e io come i miei compagni siamo rimasti meravigliati dall’imponenza (ancora oggi ci chiediamo come possa restare in piedi), fortunatamente siamo riusciti ad avere anche uno sconto sul biglietto grazie al nostro status di universitari. Il Capodanno in particolare è stata una notte veramente magica, una marea di persone di diverse nazionalità tutte a festeggiare insieme..veramente stupendo. Una cosa che mi sogno ancora di notte è la paella, piatto con cui abbiamo pranzato e cenato continuamente durante tutto il nostro soggiorno. Nel nostro breve viaggio non siamo comunque riusciti a visitare numerose attrazioni (prima fra tutte , per noi malati di calcio, il Camp Nou), per questo spero con tutto il cuore di poter perfezionare la mia esperienza vincendo questo concorso.
