Hotel Jazz à Barcelone

nous avons réservé l’hotel pour un week end de Février, et nous avons été ravi.

Tout d’abord, nous avons effectué notre réservation par internet. Quelques jours avant la date, l’hotel re-confirme la réservation (ca rassure)

L’hotel Jazz est idéalement situé dans Barcelone, près des ramblas et des stations de métro.

Sur place, le personnel était très accueillant.

Les chambres sont modernes, classes et propres.

Nous n’avons pas testé le petit dejeuner (10 euros, c’est un peu cher)

Pour les beaux jours, l’hotel dispose d’une magnifique terrasse et piscine sur le toit!

Enfin,il y a un accès wi fi gratuit dans toutes les chambres.

Les moins concernant l’hotel, c’est l’insonorisation du coté des couloirs, et le prix du parking de l’hotel, qui est à 22 eurs par jour…

Globalement, nous avons été ravi de notre séjour, et reprendrons surement le même hotel lors de notre prochain séjour à Barcelone.

Excellent deal for the price.

First time in Barcelona. We stayed at the Jazz hotel from 31st Oct to 2nd Nov, after our cruise. Its a beautiful, contemporary, spotlessly clean facility. We got a spacious mini-suite. Actually the picture above is exactly the room we stayed in. The staff at the front desk (sorry I do not remember names) spoke excellent english and their help with sight-seeing and restaurants was right on the mark. Location is perfect. Would highly recommend this facility. Excellent deal for the price. Can’t wait to go back.

Jazz Hotel: perfect 1st time in Barcelona

On our first visit to Barcelona our stay at Hotel Jazz enhanced it. The Hotel staff were very friendly, attentive and met our every request without question.

Our room was clean, large and comfortable and the pool was a great place to relax after a day sightseeing in this great city.

When we return we will stay again at this or another Núñez i Navarro Hotel.

From New Zealand to Hotel Jazz Barcelona

My husband and I heard about Hotel Jazz from a travel column in our newspaper in New Zealand.
It was a great location and the room,facilities, pool and staff were really wonderful. It was excellent value for money and we would always recommend it to anyone travelling to the fantastic city of Barcelona!
We would certainly stay there again.

Beautiful Hotel Jazz in Barcelona

We stayed 1 week in your beautiful Hotel Jazz.
The roof platform with swimming pool, the kind staff and the lovely jazz sound were an enriching experience.
Furthermore the hotel is well situated, just block away from the busy shopping miles and other touristic attractions.
We are sure that we will soon back

The Jazz Century exhibition at CCCB

Jazz, together with film and rock, was one of the most foremost artistic happenings of the 20th Century. This exhibition offers an across-the-board reading of its complex history, based on a chronological structure providing a narrative thread that follows a timeline marking the main events in the history of jazz.

The exhibition “The Jazz Century”, on at the CCCB, gives a chronological review of the relationship between jazz and other disciplines. So, the exhibition demonstrates the influence of jazz on the works of Picabia, Man Ray and Mondrian as well as the creation of its own set of aesthetics based on covers, concert programmes and other publicity material.

MotoGP Catalunya Circuit de Montmeló

The Motorcycling World Championship comes to Barcelona with the thrilling Gran Premi de Catalunya this next weekend June 12th-14th. Come along with your friends or relatives to encourage your favourite riders.

The Catalunya Moto GP is one of the most popular of the World MotoGP Championship. Held at the Circuit de Catalunya, in Montmeló near Barcelona, it attracts holidaymakers and race fans alike. Drawing crowds of 100,000 the atmosphere is always electric.

World Moto GP 2009 has already visited Qatar, Japan, Jerez, Le Mans and the Italian Mugello and this weekend will be in Barcelona, before going to the Dutch Assen.

The Circuit has seventeen grandstands, three of which are under cover, and offers plenty of services for an unforgettable stay.

The Catalan Grand Prix features also twenty giant screens, so that you enjoy a live-experience and don’t miss a detail of the race. Giant screens are viewable from everywhere in the public areas, even the pelouse.

How to get to Circuit de Catalunya Montmeló:

• Sagalés Bus: The coach company Sagalés and the Circuit have arranged a service to take spectators to the Circuit by coach during the Grand Prix. Coaches leave from downtown Barcelona, at the junction between Passeig de Sant Joan and Diputació St., and arrive at the Circuit’s East Area. www.sagales.com
• RENFE trains: During the Grand Prix days, thousands of passengers stop at the Montmeló railway station, which offers a more completed service during the rush hours. There is a 20-minute walk from the railway station to the Circuit. www.renfe.es

Great, Great Location - Hotel Jazz Experience.

Excellent hotel, clean, comfortable, modern, with latest furnishings. Excellent breakfast, pool facilities, helpful staff, good price. And great, great location, right between the old city and the Eixample district and so ideal for exploring both the various districts of the old city and the the area around the Passeig del Gracia with all the Gaudi and other modernist architecture. Also great clothes shopping, right at hand and within easy walking distance, and an outstanding, old fashioned wine store about five blocks away, as well as lots of good restaurants.

Remarkably quiet—except when Barcelona wins soccer championships, but then closing the door and turning on the air conditioning solves the problem.  Very convenient for subway—two stations very close by—and so convenient for train station, Park Guell, or Montserrat. Only complaint: shower head took a while to get used to so as not to spray water around the washroom. And quite reasonable price for all this.  I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Jazz

I returned from Barcelona staying at the Jazz Hotel, a little sad that it was only a business trip and I couldn’t stay longer. The hotel is at a perfect location, with the best shops just a step away from the door. It is located in a lively area for holiday makers and yet quiet enough if you there for business. The staff is friendly and give already a good impression when you walk in the doors. The rooms are spacious and well equiped with everything you need for a 5* stay. With a roof top swimming pool, you can unwind after a full day shopping, before taking on the big choice of restuarants the surrounding area have to offer. I would certainly go back to Jazz Hotel and recommend this to anyone, for business or pleasure stay.
