The door to the rest of Barcelona: U232 Hotel

I stayed 9 days in the hotel, and I would recommend it whole heartily. The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area; a block from the Metro station, which is the door to the rest of Barcelona.

The whole hotel was recently redecorated and it is very comfortable, and beautiful.
I applaud the interior designer for her vision to create, with very dark colors, a comfortable contemporary design that welcomes you.

The service was also extremely nice, helpful, and prompt.

It should be noted that if you are looking for a “happening’ place, this is not the place to stay. There is no evening restaurant or well supplied, bar to spend time at. That, you can find all over Barcelona any time of the day.

I hope my comment is helpful to people trying to decide about their stay.

Experience at U232 Hotel Barcelona

 We recently stayed for 2 night at U232 Hotel and enjoyed it very much. The welcome cocktail was a very nice touch and our breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices.  The setting for breakfast and service very nice.

Our room was comfortable, clean and well supplied.  We would recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to revisit again.

U232 Hotel Review

I recently stayed at the U232 Hotel with my wife for four nights for a birthday surprise. 

It has an excellent location and the staff were extremely helpful, advising what would be good to see whilst staying in the city and also how to walk, get the metro or bus.  They were always courteous to us taking time to greet you when entering or leaving the hotel. 

We had a good sized room with very nice facilities, balcony (although the view could have been much better, we looked onto the building behind the hotel?), large en-suite (with a glass wall in-between the en-suite and the bedroom) and a very comfortable bed & pillows, so were able to have great sleep which is very important on holidays!!  The local restaurants were of a good quality so choice was not limited.  Also a local cafe, called El Fornet, was particularly good for breakfast & lunch!! 

Overall we really enjoyed our visit to Barcelona and would definately think of a return visit!

Nous venons de passer un superbe week-end à Barcelone en séjournant à l’hôtel U232.

La réalité est conforme au site web. Le design est très réussi, bois sombre et espaces épuré, de belles photos noir et blanc de Barcelone aux murs. Bonne musique de jazz au bar hélas vide malgré de confortables fauteuils. Agréable odeur en entrant.

Notre chambre était spacieuse, dotée d’un lit king size plus large que d’ordinaire, d’un grand écran plat (pas de lecteur CD/DVD) et la salle de bains très propre (un tout petit peu plus grande serait pas plus mal). Chambre bien insonorisée - nous étions coté « cour » - mais vue décevante.

Le personnel est très serviable. Le buffet petit déjeuner très bien mais peut être un peu cher (13 eur ). Accès rapide au métro (L5) et bus.
