We have the second free New Year’s Eve winner in Barcelona. Núñez i Navarro Hotels had organized a poll via Facebook asking you what was the most characteristic feature of Christmas in Barcelona and among all who have responded to our survey.

The lucky winner was … Mari Verdu Rodriguez. Congratulations!!!

The prize was:

2-nights stay at U232 Hotel, on a double room, on December 31st 2010 and January 1st 2011.
Breakfast included.
1 Bottle of Cava.
The prize can not be used in conjunction with other item or goods.

Great stay at U232

Had a one-night stay pre-cruise at the U232 and was very impressed with the room and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Interestingly, I spent a second night in the Eixample at another 4 star hotel paid for by my cruise line. It was a little closer to the action but otherwise U232 won hands-down. I would gladly stay there again.

U232 Hotel: Just Perfect!

We just came back from Europe and we’d like to thank you for your hospitality.
All of the receptionists (I mean ALL – Georgina, Manoel and the others I can’t remember the name – sorry) were extremely polite and helpful.
Barcelona was one of the best place where we stayed at.

There is nothing to complain about…it was just perfect…
We don’t know when we will be able to return to Europe, but Barcelona is part of our itinerary as well as the U232 Hotel.

U232 – SIMPLY THE BEST HOTEL EVER

Myself and husband have just returned from a whirlwind trip for his 50th Birthday. We stayed in Barcelona as part of our trip for 2 nights at the U232 and can honestly say this is the BEST hotel we have EVER stayed in. We stayed in one of the top rooms and it as absolute luxury, not to mention the fabulous views of the city from our private balcony and the bath! We are certain to stay there again. Service too was absolutely fantastic and the receptionists were friendly and nothing was too much trouble to ask. We cannot wait to stay there again in the very near future. Cannot recommend this hotel enough..

Pleasant U232 Hotel in Barcelona

We were in Barcelona for 5 nights and it was the first time in this beautiful city. Our stay in the U232 Hotel was a very pleasant one: good location, nice and quiet room, close to the metro and very good restaurants in the neighbourhood. We had a fantastic dinner in Osmosis and a very nice tapas evening in taverna Maitea. We’ll certainly be back in Barcelona and in the U232 hotel.

A great hotel, friendly and polite service,nice spacious rooms with modern equippment, quiet and clean room, beds with good and new mattresses; we stayed there for three nights and enjoyed ist all. The hotel is located close to the metro station, next time in Barcelona we´ll be back for sure!

The door to the rest of Barcelona: U232 Hotel

I stayed 9 days in the hotel, and I would recommend it whole heartily. The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area; a block from the Metro station, which is the door to the rest of Barcelona.

The whole hotel was recently redecorated and it is very comfortable, and beautiful.
I applaud the interior designer for her vision to create, with very dark colors, a comfortable contemporary design that welcomes you.

The service was also extremely nice, helpful, and prompt.

It should be noted that if you are looking for a “happening’ place, this is not the place to stay. There is no evening restaurant or well supplied, bar to spend time at. That, you can find all over Barcelona any time of the day.

I hope my comment is helpful to people trying to decide about their stay.
