WOW… Not enough can be said about Hotel 1898 …
I stayed at both the Le Meridien and Hotel 1898 and 1898 wins hands down.
The service, amenities and facilities are just great. I really felt at home in the Deluxe Room - Great Terraces..
In fact it is one of the nicest hotels I have ever visited.

We stayed 3 nights in your fantastic hotel, and enjoyed every aspect of it. The colonial building is really very stylish, with a friendly and helpful staff, a perfect accomodation in the historic heart of Barcelona, a splendid 360°view from the rooftop terrace, etc. A place to remember and to visit again!
