Hotel 1898 – Lovely but expensive.

Posted on 26 June 2008 in Nuñez i Navarro Hotels

We recently stayed in this wonderful hotel with it’s mix of old and contemporary features, it’s beautiful Spa and Roof Terrace and it’s great location and loved every minute.

The only thing that let it down was that we couldn’t spend any time eating or drinking there because of the ridiculous costs – 12.5 Euros for a Gin and Tonic is outrageous.

I think that any hotel of this quality should realise that it would not only be more accomodating, but would also, ultimately be more profitable, if they kept their food and drink prices within reach of their clientel and on a par with what they would pay 50 metres down the road.
