The former leader of Dire Straits is coming to Barcelona to share his latest album.
Mark Knopfler is travelling round Europe on his new tour this summer, with 72 performances in 25 different countries. The first stop in Spain is Barcelona, on 25 July, for a sell-out concert at the Poble Espanyol.
The ex-Dire Straits frontman is coming to present Privateering, his eighth and latest solo studio album and the first double album with original tracks in his 35-year career. There are 20 new songs on it, recorded in his London studio with Guy Fletcher on keyboard and Richard Bennett on guitar, among others.
