Sarcophagus of Ancient Egypt

Thirty sarcophagi, a mummy other funeral objects from five generations of priests in the temple gardens of Amun are in the Sarcòfags de l’antic Egipte Exhibition, at the Museu Egipci in Barcelona.

The pieces were discovered in 1903 but his is the first time they have been put on exhibition. The sarcophagi were for members of the family who served the god Karnak, 650BC, in the gardens of Amun.
