Photographic Contest: Barcelona, always!

Núñez i Navarro Hotels launches its first photographic contest “Barcelona, always!” through facebook.

In order to partake in the contest, open to everyone, you only need to become a a fan of Núñez i Navarro Hotels in facebook and post a picture on the wall.

First prize will be a 2-nights stay with breakfast included at U232 Hotel, a fantastic hotel in Eixample downtown Barcelona. Photographer Marie Espeus collaborated on the decoration of the hotel with wonderful pictures of Barcelona in black and white.

Second prize will be a dinner for two people at the magnificent Restaurant H1898, on Las Ramblas of Barcelona, to discover the Tasting Menu featuring the new tapas by our Chef Carles Boronat. A gastronomic proposal featuring delicatessen such as Oxtail cannelloni with morels or Capuccino of Porcini mushrooms with Idiazabal cheese mousse and truffle oil.

You have time until January 29th, 2010 to post your picture. The two pictures that received more votes “I like it” on February 1st, 2010 will be the winners.

very good value based on the quality of room

Hi,

We just had 3 great days in Soho Hotel (23-26 October 2009). Room was very comfortable though you do need to specify in your email booking if you want a double bed as the normal email booking process resulted in us being allocated a twin/double bed (2 beds pushed together) when we arrived – this was rectified with a room change to a conventional “double” room.

Hotel staff were extremely helpful and offered great restaurant reccomendations etc. Location was also execellent for walking out to all the major attractions. We also appreciated the excellent free wifi to all rooms. Based on our travels we would also consider it very good value based ont the quality of room you recieve etc. Looking forward to our next opportunity to come and visit.

What a pleasure.

The Soho hotel was a gentle and nice surprise;   after traveling all day, we were met by very courteous and helpful folks, and went to our outstanding room.     The ultra-modern Soho is right in the middle of everyplace we wanted to visit & Metro is right outside.

We figure that we had the nicest room in the inn.       We were on the top floor (except for the roof-top pool and solarium area above us), and had a hugh terrace that overlooked the city and Montjuc.     The room is a delightful sojourn to tomorrow with glass walls separating the shower from the bed, and the bed from ‘outside’.          They also offer a pretty decent breakfast that we took advantage of every morning, and a business-internet area in which we caught up on our email.       We will return to the Soho every chance we get.

We had an amazing time, helped by the receptionist upgrading us to a suite, this was very nice of him
All the staff were very friendly and always willing to help with directions
The hotel was spotlessly clean and right outside a metro station so getting around was so easy
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel
