Every summer, The Gracia Festival becomes one of the most important dates in the calendar of Barcelona: decorated streets, performances, workshops, concerts and much more in this emblematic festival.
This year’s festival will begin on Monday August 15 with a firework performance at 7:00 am at the Verdi del Mig street. This will be the starting point for a week full of activities with a program suitable for all ages, in which will stand out the concerts, fairs, correfocs and numerous activities for children.
The decoration of the streets will become, once again, one of the main attractions of the Festa Major de Gràcia, transforming the streets into magical places. This is thanks to the efforts done, throughout the year, by different associations of Gràcia, preparing the decoration of the streets with recycled materials and with the most original ideas, giving a huge sign of the great community spirit that reigns in the neighborhood.
Another essential dates of this festival are certainly the free concerts held by Sala Heliogàbal, with its emblematic Festigàbal, which this year will feature artists such as Bigott, Los Mambo Jambo, Da Souza, Futuro Terror, Les Sueques or Los ganglios.
It should also be noted that these parties are not the only ones taking place in August as if we were wanting more, the Festival of Sants starts just when the Gràcia ones finish.
